Australia and UK to sign historic free-trade deal

Australia and the UK are set to sign a historic free-trade agreement on Friday which will see tariffs abolished on 99 per cent of goods. The move will see Australian households save more than $200 million per year on British imports. It will also provide new access for agricultural exports into the British market - worth hundreds of millions of dollars. The agreement is the UK’s first free trade deal to be signed with any country since it left the European Union.
