Inspired by 80’s grindcore, crust punk, and death metal, they deliver pulverizing old school sounds. Founded by Brian Pattison in 2015, the band faced lineup changes and challenges but persisted. They recorded a demo, played live shows, and participated in notable festivals. Facing setbacks, including health issues, Anthropic regrouped as a four-piece. They released the Tatanka EP, played alongside renowned acts like Cannibal Corpse, and embarked on successful tours across the USA. Tragically, Brian passed away in 2020, but with the support of his family, the band decided to continue. Adding guitarist Matt Whissel, Anthropic completed their upcoming album, “End of the Bloodline,“ set for release in early 2023. Their dedication and relentless grindcore sound define their journey, proving that they have overcome obstacles while staying true to their roots.
