How Germany flattened the COVID-19 curve whilst global cases sore over 700k

Europe has been described by the WHO as the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak worldwide. However, there is one country with fewer deaths than all other major European countries: Germany. Germany has had 541 deaths so far, with over 64,000 cases. However, this is far lower than other European countries, with Italy having over 10,000 deaths and 97,000 cases, plus thousands of deaths in France, the UK and Spain each.
