Infos about the song: Composed and sung by Rodoljub “Roki“ Vulović, a Serbian singer (and composer) from the Republika Srpska, . In 1993 he released an album titled Panteri, commemorating the achievements of the unit Garda Panteri, including tracks such as “Panteri“, “Mauzer“ and “Panteru za sjećanje“. During the Yugoslav wars, the city center of Bijeljina, Roki’s own town, was totally destroyed, while Vulović’s house was damaged. Vulović participated in the conflict as a volunteer in the “Semberska“ brigade, hence the album Semberski junaci. Many of his songs have been dedicated to his friends, many others to his fellow soldiers and commanders. After the success of his first album, Vulović joined the “Garda Panteri“, unti that had famous commanders such as Branko “Panter“ Pantelić, Ljubiša “Mauzer“ Savić and Ljubiša “Ljuti“ Lazić, in this unit, on the initiative of the commander Pero Colic, he released another album in 1993. This album was fundamental in giving serbian soldiers strength and motivation to fight and it also made Vulović famous.
