This song was co-written & produced by the late, great George Duke, and Kevin Whalum for Kevin’s “One Life To Love“ CD in 2008. You will hear strains of similarity between this tune and George’s classic ballad, “No Rhyme, No Reason“. The reason for that is because as they sat down to write it in 2007, Kevin told George that he wanted his own “No Rhyme, No Reason“. George obliged, and had fun adding the chordal hints back to his own tune to give the two songs “connection“. Enjoy.
