Shofuso Japanese House and Garden

#Shofuso #JapaneseHouseAndGarden A Japanese home hidden in a Japanese style garden, Shofuso was built in 1953. It was designed by Japanese architect Junzo Yoshimura as a gift from the Japanese people to the American people. Shofuso House and Garden were originally used in an exhibition at the New York Museum of Modern Art. Later it was moved to its permanent home in West Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. Today, you can visit the site and walk through the garden, feed the koi fish that live in the pond or take a self-guided tour of the house. Shofuso House and Garden invite the public to special annual events, festivals and tea ceremonies held throughout the year. ------------------------------ 4K video exploration of historic and abandoned places in NJ and PA.
