Pegboard Nerds - Emoji (Official Music Video)

The perennial electronic duo Pegboard Nerds has teamed with the Director Patrick Jean whose short film “Pixels“ created in 2010 was awarded more than 30 times and spawned a Hollywood blockbuster starring Adam Sandler and Peter Dinklage. Jean’s collaboration with Parsberg and Odden of Pegboard Nerds for the “Emoji” music video brings the pop culture phenomenon to life through personification of the emoji’s represented as people living in our world. The music video playfully chronicles the day-to-day life of Emoji characters while everyday objects resembling faces sing the topline vocals of the dynamic dubstep single. The single has already made waves as it peaked on the HypeM charts and Spotify Viral charts earlier in the year. This release caps the Pink Cloud EP campaign, a mission to fight breast cancer since October that has raised over $35k since its launch. The EP not only made a splash with its philanthropy, but amongst fans and critics alike; sending it to the #2 spot on iTunes dance chart. And with an ecosystem of video games, giveaways, merchandise, and other ancillary content made in its path, Pink Cloud continues to be one of the most touching stories of 2015.
