Sights and sounds from Norway’s annual Ice Music festival | Mashable

In the Norwegian village of Geilo, locals and aficionados gather for the annual Ice Music Festival which started in 2006. The festival was created by Norwegian composer and percussionist, Terje Isungset who came up with the idea after he was asked to perform inside of a frozen waterfall in 2000. The musicians are mostly Scandinavian and perform using instruments made of ice including wind instruments, string and percussion.
