Beacon Street Union - “My Love Is“ (1968) [MONO] - The Eyes Of...

The Beacon Street Union was one of the strongest bands to emerge from the highly-promoted “Bosstown Sound“ as idealized by Alan Lorber. The promo-only mono mix of their debut album sounds far better than the stereo mix found on stock copies, which is weak and unbalanced. This mono version brings out the great acidic sound of the group without giving up the brilliant depth of soundstage.
