Hyena rescued from a Village Well in Maharashtra

A Striped #hyena escaped a narrow brush with death after falling into a 15 foot deep deep well in Ane village, located in Otur Forest range, #Maharashtra. #WildlifeSOS was able to assist the Maharashtra #ForestDepartment with timely intervention to save the hyena’s life! After a detailed on-site medical examination and treatment, the hyena was released back into the wild.
