Nordic/Viking Music - Snýsk Jörmungandr

Snýsk Jörmungandr is about the giant serpent Jormungandr, also known as Midgard Serpent, the arch-enemy of Thor. Jormungandr is one of the children of Loki and Angrboda taken by Odin. Midgard Serpent was thrown into the great ocean that encircles Midgard. Jormungandr grew so large that it was able to surrond the earth and grasp its own tail, hence the name Midgard Serpent. As all the other tracks from the upcoming album Urðarbrunnr, it is sang in Old Norse and contains authentic texts from Poetic Edda. The artwork by Raven from the North. Mastered by Lukas Kasprzyk.
