Tutorial #3 - Rockabilly Boogie Guitar - Carl Perkins Style - Part 1 - Jez Quayle
In this video I teach the boogie guitar technique Carl Perkins used to accompany himself when singing his rockabilly classics ’Blues Suede Shoes’, ’Boppin the Blues’, ’Gone Gone Gone’, etc. Carl not only used this technique when playing his own compositions, but also when covering other rock ’n’ roll songs. This technique sounds great on both acoustic and electric guitar.
