AKO BEATZ…. 25 YEARS IN THE JUNGLE. This documentary celebrates the 25 year anniversary of the foundational UK Jungle label, AKO Beatz. It was launched as A-KO Recordings in 1995 by DJ Stretch with the help of Reinforced Records, and after a break for a few years, the label was relaunched after an inspiring Rupture London rave in 2013. Narrated by Stretch and the perspectives of the AKO family: this movie documents the sound, community, raves, love for jungle, influences, and inclusivity that make up this important slice of London underground music history. 🔥.
