La Guerre - Janequin

Clément Janequin’s madrigal La Guerre. Sung by the King’s Singers as part of their Madrigal History Tour. This piece was almost certainly written by Janaquin to celebrate Francis I’s victory over the Swiss at the Battle of Marignano in 1515. About 2 minutes in I realised that getting all the timings between the music and audio correct is slightly harder than expected so I apologise for any errors. Edit: I have noticed the music gets progressively ahead of the audio through out the piece by a small fraction of a beat, did try to correct this but it seems the video programme is a bit confused by so many slides in quick succession.
