Highlights of Ukraine in the Summer of 1991

Various scenes in Ukraine in the summer of 1991. I was taking a 6-week course at the International School of Ukrainian Studies in Kyiv (Kiev) Ukraine, which was then part of the Soviet Union. The school was managed by Ihor Ostash. Orest Subtelny taught the Ukrainian History course. I also travelled to Lviv, Ivano Frankivsk and Zaporizhia. I was also there when the 1991 Soviet Coup D’état occurred.
