The Berlin-based producer and live act officially had the biggest Spotify streaming growth of any Electronic artist in the world, his 2019 debut LP Breathing surpassed 50 million streams and, with his SOLD OUT 30,000 ticket tour put on hold due to the global pandemic, Böhmer live streamed a show for fans from a 3,000 ft. high hot air balloon overlooking Cappadocia’s honeycombed hills via Cercle (Peggy Gou, Disclosure, The Blaze). The live set has quickly become one of their most successful streams to date - now with over 11 million views in just six months, it has cemented his place among fans and critics alike as ‘the’ Electronic artist to watch. He has been nominated alongside Phoebe Bridgers, Arlo Parks and Laura Marling for Best Live Streamed Act by the AIM awards (2021). Now, Böhmer announces his sophomore LP Begin Again out September 24th via Anjunadeep, alongside lead single “Beyond Beliefs.” The track, with reverence to the power of hope, is a stunning example of Böhmer’s signature melodic house soundscapes - it blends moody, atmospheric sounds with icy tones, creating a dreamy work of instrumental genius. Begin Again was inspired and written while Böhmer and his fiancé were separated on opposite sides of the globe for nine months due to the global travel ban.
