Plasmatics - 45th Anniversary Show

The ’45th Anniversary Show’ features documentary snippets, videoclips and live shows by the Plasmatics during the first half of the ’80s. It includes the Bond’s Casino show, the Perkin’s Palace and the incendiary Live In Camden show, with Motörhead coming on stage to perform ’Jailbait’. BOND’S CASINO (May 15, 1981) This video is taken from some of the rare footage of one of the Plasmatics legendary performances at Bond’s International Casino in NYC in 1981. The shows, all used to raise money for the Plasmatics’ Legal Defense Fund was used to defray costs from the huge legal expenses that followed from the Milwaukee “incident” that saw first Wendy arrested by the Milwaukee Vice Squad and then the subsequent beatings of both Wendy and Rod who came to her defense and that ended both of them first in the hospital and then in jail.
