Movie Gun Build Video 2a: Star Wars Ion Blaster Jawa Enfield (live fire work in progress)

I’ve been wanting to do this one for a long time. I destroyed the receiver (actually two of them) to BATFE spec using an oxy acetylene torch and removing 1/4“ of material per pass (three passes for this) The scraps of receiver were then cleaned up and set up on a jig for tig welding (followed by tedious cleanup work) So it’s a virgin pistol build (similar to the cockweasle mosin obrez project, although the enfield design requires a lot more precision work.
