Final Fantasy 7: Midgar Burning (Red - Let it Burn - Until We Have Faces) AMV

New anime music video (AMV) featuring footage from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. Set to the song “Let it Burn“ by Red (“Until We Have Faces“ album). This is not your average FF7 AMV, using stereotypical shots of the heroes kicking butt. If anything, it is the reverse--mostly showing the heroes getting *their* butt’s kicked, and focusing more on minor characters than usual as well. The theme of the video is being willing to fight and die for your cause (for the latter, I used a slight “twist“ ending), even in the face of the apparent triumph of evil. This song is perfect for that theme, invoking dual feelings of both despair and hope at the same time, encouraging you to fight for what you believe in even when all appears lost and hopeless. This is my most technically advanced AMV yet. While in the past I’ve been hesitant to widely employ effects, preferring a more subtle approach, this time I allowed myself
