This model which I designed recently looks similar to the Endlessly Opening Pyramid Skeleton, but has pyramid faces that are stellated instead of hollow. I recommend using cardstock (thick paper). Alternatively, you can use paper from an old calendar (if it’s heavy) or you could try cutting out a square from a cereal box, but then I would recommend scoring the creases using a ruler and a ballpoint pen. If you need to make a square from a rectangle do it as shown in the video instead of folding diagonally
