Zelensky visits Washington to make a plea for aid as Congress in its final week

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at the White House Tuesday for talks and a joint news conference with US President Joe Biden. Earlier, Zelensky met with members of congress while he seeks more military aid. Biden made his own plea to Congress to provide billions in aid. Biden’s request for a $110 billion U.S. aid package for Ukraine, Israel and other national security needs is at serious risk of collapse in Congress. Republicans are insisting on strict border security changes in exchange for any Ukraine aid. __________________ ShanghaiEye focuses on producing top-quality contents.
