“12 Lullabies For Victoria - No.1“ by Victor Carbajo + FREE sheet music

I discovered the music of Victor Carbajo by happy chance. Some years back I was searching online for new piano lullabies/berceuse at the IMSLP Music Library to play to my young daughter, Emilie. At the IMSLP you have the option to search by composer, composition or theme. I found a LOT of lullabies at the IMSLP, mainly by unfamiliar 19th century composers. I was looking forward to making discoveries. I downloaded everything available, totalling many hundreds of pages and began to go through them, one by one, at the piano. However, nothing stood out musically, except for the usual well-known lullabies by Brahms, Liszt, Saint-Saens, Chopin and Oswald. I got to the final album. The cover caught my eye, a beautiful line drawing of a flowering plant with the words “DOCE NANAS PARA VICTORIA“. From my school Spanish I understood “12 Lullabies for Victoria“.
