First footage of rare echidna species named after broadcaster David Attenborough

A long-beaked echidna named after Sir David Attenborough has been caught on camera in a remote forest in Indonesia’s Cyclops Mountains. Attenborough’s long-beaked echidna (Zaglossus attenboroughi) are extremely rare and classified as critically endangered on the IUCN red list.
