Moscow on Alert after Wagner Fighters Shoot Down Russian Helicopter, March into Rostov | Watch

A full-blown conflict between the Russian military and Wagner Chief Yevgeny Prigozhin has erupted in Russia after a one-time aide of Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Moscow’s troops of bombing his forces on the orders of defence minister Sergei Shoigu. Prigozhin said his fighters crossed the border into Russia from Ukraine and were prepared to go “all the way“ against Moscow’s military, hours after the Kremlin accused him of armed mutiny. The mercenery group is said to have entered the Russian city of Rostov where they have allegedly shot down a Russian military helicopter. The Russian FSB has opened a criminal probe against Wagner chief and ordered his arrest after he called for an armed rebellion against the military leadership amid the Ukraine war.
