The Navy Bows Its Head (1932)

Full title reads: “Portsmouth. The Navy bows its head - to mourn lost Comrades of the ill-fated M-2“ Portsmouth, Hampshire. Men of the Royal Navy march into doorway in building. Different angle showing men walking into entrance. They are removing their hats as they go in. Amongst those going in are Royal Marines and Naval officers. Next comes a small group of women all dressed in black - presumably widows and family members of those sailors lost on the submarine M2. High angle shot, three women in black walk past policeman. One of the women carries a wreath shaped like an anchor. The camera follows them as they walk towards the doorway. Several naval officers are outside the church or chapel. More women and sailors arrive at the entrance. Naval officers walk down road. They walk past the doorway, where a military band are entering the building. These officers go in by another doorway.
