HAPPY WHEN IT RAINS

A video by Wasted Paris Rain and skateboarding don’t usually go hand in hand. You either skate when it’s dry or can’t because of the rain. While it often feels like an enemy of skateboarding, rain can sometimes create unexpected opportunities. Despite imperfect conditions, everything can still fall into place, giving rise to a unique thrill and satisfaction. This was the reality our team faced during a 9-day trip to Berlin. Nearly half of those days were wet. Some days, they couldn’t film at all, while on others, they managed to capture a few final shots just before the storm hit. It’s tough to stay motivated given this uncertainty, but pushing through these conditions can sometimes lead to something truly special. In the end, a rainy day isn’t always a setback in a skate trip. It’s a chance to rest, the last bit of motivation needed for one last effort, or a way to encourage different approach at a spot. Sometimes, it’s worth being happy when it rains. --- Riders : Nicolas Beduneau - Victor Cascarigny – Andrea Dupré - Arthur Fontis – Joe Lascar – Tabo Löchelt – Harry Bulgrin Filmed by Arthur Giat Graphic design by Sergio Ben Mario Photos by Renan Garcia Music by Chateau Rouge & Rendez vous
