(an Apple Corps controlled company) and your unauthorised use of our material is a copyright infringement. In order to avoid a “takedown“, please confirm you have removed the video within 7 days. Thank you Axxxx Bxxxxxx Apple Corps Ltd.“ my response: “Hello This 5-min video was edited out of 1 hour of concert footage with Fair-Use criteria in mind. It is transformative, uses only small portion of the original material and meant to work as a social commentary. My account is not enabled for monetizaton and the sound portion is used with permission from Cooking Vinyl/ Merlin (because it is unedited).“ The video was taken down. I submitted “dispute“. It was rejected by the Apple Corps. Then I appealed to YouTube. 1 month later YouTube responded with the following: “Hello, In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we’ve completed processing your counter-notification. This content has been restored. Your account will not be penalized.
