Hiking in Pyhä-Häkki National Park - Pyhä-Häkki Kansallispuisto

I hiked in Pyhä-Häkki National Park in June. It’s a pretty amazing park and the most remarkable old-growth forest of the Southern Finland, with its old pine trees, with some being over 500 years old! I think it’s incredible to see these trees, thinking of what they have seen and still being around today. The old one, that is called “the Big Old Tree“, has a diameter of 288cm and one feels rather small next to it, lol! It’s a beautiful park with lakes, meadows and mires and is very easy to hike and good trails. Turn up the brightness, put on your headset and enjoy!
