This sensor detects the volume of air entering the engine and thus delivers the right amount of fuel. If the sensor does not work properly, it will affect the car’s air/fuel ratio. This will cause difficulties or malfunctions in the engine, may damage or shorten the life of engine components over time, may even lead to severe engine damage.
