Participants in the 2018 Yudansha Prep Workshop received a special surprise class taught by Mitsugi Saotome Sensei. One of Sensei’s common teaching themes is the importance of studying aspects of battlefield sword, and applying the resulting sharpness, focus, and attitude to open hand study. This video shows Sensei teaching applications of sword-vs-sword (kumitachi), multiple attackers, and open hand.
