Experiencing abundant Africa, meeting brothers and sisters who speak my native language in Mozambique, and being able to play music in a national park where there is so much care for environmental preservation made me reflect on the impact of our existence. The disconnection with the natural world makes us bait entangled in the invisible webs of a digital reality, oblivious to the place where we truly reside: the planet through our bodies. When we open our eyes to the life that surrounds us, we awaken to the abundance of human fullness. In presence, we can hear the secrets whispered by the majestic trees, guardians of time, which teach us patience, resilience, and the beauty of growing in silence with the wisdom of nurturing roots. The waters of the rivers that flow into the sea mirror our quest for purpose and direction, but when polluted, we cloud our own reflection, forgetting that their purity is also ours.
