Waves Rush In - Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself

Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself is a song born out of years of personal growth and a journey of deepening self love. We all have a tendency to give ourselves a hard time but when we are going through challenges, what we really need is to give ourselves a hug. The idea for the song was sent to me by one of my producers David King. As soon as I heard it I fell in love with the song as it spoke to me so directly about my own journey and I knew it would do the same for so many others too. Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself is a pure, honest and simple song that shares a story everyone can relate to and one that I hope will help bring about more healing and self acceptance. Having been there for each other, through the good times and the bad, I feel honoured to have my wife Isabella singing with me on the record.
