Somalia on brink of catastrophic famine after worst drought in decades - BBC News
Hundreds of thousands of people are facing hunger and the threat of starvation in Somalia, due to drought, crop failure and decades of conflict.
It’s one of the world’s most severe humanitarian crisis, with many blaming the drought on climate change.
The situation is made worse by the conflict with Al Shabab, Islamist insurgents who pose a threat in much of the country and prevent the delivery of aid.
Huw Edwards presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Andrew Harding in Baidoa, Somalia.
