The Aztecs have been sent to Xochimilco to fight for Colhuacan against their fierce rivals. After returning victorious from this war, Coxcoxtli ruler of Colhuacan betrays and vanish them from his kingdom, throwing them into a barren land filled with serpents and vermin. The Aztecs are once more on their quest for the land promised by their god, Huitzilopochtli and finally find the Sign where they will build the Sacred City of Tenochtitlan, which will ultimately become the most powerful city, seat of The Aztec Empire...
Lyrics:
Azteca:
We’re summoned again to the battlefield
Coxcoxtli has called on the might of our warriors
Xochimilco threatens Colhuacan
And their lord is claiming for aid
Coxcoxtli:
Thou shall return with eight thousand prisoners
Bring me their ears as proof of your victory
I won’t provide you with any arms
Whence you return your servants they’ll be
Chorus
Behold the might of The Aztec
Such power unheard before
Prepare your entrance to Mictlan
Behold the face of your death
Verse 2
Azteca:
Xochimilco has been defeated
Enemie’s fallen undone by our hands
Here are the noses of thirty two thousand
Prisoners are yours if you just let us go
Coxcoxtli:
How dare you bring me such filth
Animals you are, savage, reckless!
Henceforth your vanished but servants remain
Leave my lands and never return!
Chorus
Beware the wrath of The Aztec
Your final insult’s been done
Prepare your entrance to Mictlan
Next time we clash you’ll face death
Interlude: Pilgrimage - To War - Huitzilopochtli’s Victory - The Promised Land
The Aztec People:
Here we stand in heart of our sacred city
Carved in jade, black obsidian and stained in gold.
Thou shall bow and revere at its name and splendor
For its might shall be never surpassed.
Let them know that as long as the world remains
Won’t be an end to the fame and the glory of Mexico - Tenochtitlan
