Portable PIZZA OVEN from watertank // JustRandomPfusch

Instagram: Last year we built this Pizza oven using an old watertank from a heating system. Put in rigs for some Fireclay stones, an ash grid, installed the pipe and sealed the door plate with fire rope. We put it on wheels for easy transport around the property. We first were to use garbage can wheels, but then I found these ridiculously big tractor-like ones. We think they look awesome! Cut out fenders from another tank to protect them from the heat. Once it´s heated up properly it can hold a temperature around 180-230°C (350-446°F) no problem. The highest we could get was 270°C. For more we’d need better insulation. Used it on several occasions now and it´s never let us down. We found it best to put the greased trays on some rails elevated of the rocks, otherwise the pizza would burn on the bottom.
