Pamela Mascitto’s passion for providing equal access for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people has led her to being a K-12 sign language interpreter for thirteen years, working at schools both in Hawai’i, where she grew up, and in Texas, where she lives currently. She has a degree in Educational Interpreting from Kapi’olani Community College and has both a National Interpreter Certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (NIC) and a Board for Evaluation of Interpreters Advanced Certification (BEI).
