Jungle Troops (1944)

Unused / unissued material - date and locations unclear or unknown. Tanks carrying soldiers (could be Nepalese or Gurkhas?) move along muddy roads in jungle area (Burma?). Soldiers jump out of a stationary tank. Shots of soldiers in undergrowth by road with guns at the ready. A soldier runs to a muddy river, writes a note and passes it to a comrade. The note is passed to a British (?) officer who reads it. Soldiers creep through jungle and crouch down. C/U of soldier. Soldiers carry tree trunks to muddy river and stick them in the ground to make basic structure of a bridge. Others pull logs through the jungle and rope them together to make bridge across the first ones. Soldier chops down tree trunk. Trees falling. More shots of the bridge taking shape.
