Diese Ballade ist eine Hommage an 40 Jahre Modern Talking und entstammt meinem dritten Album “Romance And Gold“. Mit dieser Single und dem Album möchte ich die großartige Zeit der 80er wieder aufleben lassen und an die großen Erfolge von Dieter Bohlen und Thomas Anders erinnern. “The 40-Year Journey Of Modern Talking“ ist nicht nur eine Verneigung vor dieser legendären Band, sondern erinnert auch an die Geburtsstunde von Modern Talking vor 40 Jahren. Im Oktober 1984 veröffentlichten sie ihren ersten Song “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul“ und ahnten damals noch nicht, dass dies der Beginn einer Weltkarriere sein würde. Diese neue Single ist ein Geschenk für alle Modern Talking Fans und ein großes Dankeschön an Dieter und Thomas für eine unvergessliche Disco-Zeit, an die wir uns gerne zurückerinnern. Zusätzlich zur Single enthält die Veröffentlichung zwei bislang unveröffentlichte Songs, die es nicht mehr auf das Album geschafft haben, sowie die Bonus-Ballade “Thank You For The Music“ aus meinem dritten Album.
