Exclusive footage: Syrian Jihadists’ “time off“ playing football and fishing

Images filmed in northern Syria show fighters from the Ansar al Aquida, a Jihadist group who are fighting Bashar al Assad’s regime, engaging in surprising leisure activities such as “playing” with children, participating in a tactical game of football, barbequing and fishing. The video forms part of a documentary by French journalists Farouk Atig and Yacine Benrabia called “Les escadrons du Djihad“ (The Jihad Squads). In the documentary we can see the group fighting the Syrian Army, but also imagines like
