RECYCLING A SOLAR PANEL PART 1:REMOVE THE BACK SHEET AND SOLAR CELLS

In this first part of recycling a solar panel we have a 60 Cell Polycrystalline Solar panel. Its seen its days and as a cracking back-sheet. We are stripping it down to bare tempered glass and Aluminum frame in preparation for an upgrade later on in upcoming videos. The challenge is can we salvage the glass? Its the most delicate piece here and we MUST salvage it and keep it from going back to the landfills along with many more components. Join me as we scrape that old and beat up back sheet in a pursuit to upgrade this panel to a highly efficient and more powerful monocrystalline PERC Panel.
