Carve a full FEMALE body sculpture in wood, with free downloadable template, step by step tutorial

Directions for the course: In this step-by-step wood carving course we will focus on giving movement to the body, and learn how to carve a female body sculpture easily, working with a template and in any wood. In this video I use ficus wood that is not a good quality wood but it is perfect for training. With this size and with a poor quality wood we won’t be able to do details but that will allow us to focus on the main shape and movement of the body. Ideally, to transfer the drawing to wood, I recommend using carbon paper. The finish is with linseed oil. In my case it is a mistake since with this wood it gave it a very dark appearance and made the grain stand out too much.
