Full explanation: - The admiral is attacking Little Creeks indian village. Little Creek is knocked into the river and holds onto a rock for dear life. Spirit sees the admiral getting ready to shoot him when he races in and knocks him off, saving Little Creek. Spirit then races down stream and jumps into the river to rescue Rain. - Meanwhile Kiara witnesses Spirit rescuing Rain and gasps in shock. She hears Spirit call her name and she looks at him unsure and angrily. Spirit looks at her from afar and silently begs her to help. - But with Kiaras conflicted emotions she runs away crying and leaves them. But while she’s running away she reflects on her mother and the good times her and Spirit had and how he protected her. Spirit on the other hand is shocked to see what she’s done but doesn’t have much time to react because of the waterfall. - ( off screen ) Kiara puts aside her hatred for what Spirit did to her mother and goes racing back in his direction to see if he’s okay because she still cares. Meanwhile Spirit and Rain fall down the waterfall. - Kiara heads to the bank and frantically searches for Spirit but instead finds Rain. She heads down to her and looks at her coldly. Rain begs Kiara to help her but all the hate Kiara feels for Rain has built up and she attacks her and bites her. - Spirit finally emerges from the water and looks around for Rain but instead sees Kiara. She yells ’Father!’ but he ignores her and runs over to Rain when he sees her. He realizes she has an injury and it doesn’t take long for him to see that she is dying. Rain just keeps wincing in pain and breathing hard. - Spirit turns to Kiara and asks her why she could do something like that. Kiara bursts out crying and tries telling him that if it wasn’t for her none of this would’ve happened. She also begins to regret her actions when she sees his speechless face ( he looks at her as a killer now in way ) as he goes to rest besides Rain. - Kiara shamefully runs off and sits on a distant hill away from them. She regrets her decision and mopes. Meanwhile the admiral and his soldiers catch up with him and capture Spirit. He desperately tries to stay with Rain but she dies before his very eyes and he sadly accepts his fate and leaves with them.
