Full titles read: ’Our first call today - Broadway, on some “Stepping-Out Sisters“ - A rehearsal peep as Ziegfeld’s —— .’ (timecode obscures title on vhs copy.) New York, United States of America. Various shots of a troupe of chorus girls rehearsing a fast tap-dance routine for a show - this is probably for the Ziegfeld Follies. They dance in lines that weave in and out of one another, a la Busby Berkley. (Tune could be ’Hurry Hurry’.) Intertitle reads: ’“But, women are fickle - and chorines more so,’ say Bert and Buddy.’ M/S of heartthrob actor / singer Charles ’Buddy’ Rogers and comic Bert Lahr chatting on stage about the girls in the show being the most beautiful in the world. Bert tells Buddy that all the girls in the show are crazy about him; a group of girls enter, squealing, and gather around Buddy. He says ’So long’ to Bert and walks off with the girls.
