A Day in Paris 1900 | AI Enhanced Film by the Lumiere Brothers [60 fps, 4k]

Spellbinding motion picture from Belle Époque Paris in 1900. Filmed by the Lumiere Brothers during the Exposition Universelle. Les Trottoir roulant, or the moving walkway, was a major attraction. Running along the edge of the Exposition, from the Esplanade of Les Invalides to the Champ de Mars, it passed through several stations along the way, where passengers could hop on or off. It consisted of two mobile sections. The first you boarded ran at 4km per hour, and the second faster platform traveled at 8.5 kmph. Still alive, the day this was filmed included Oscar Wilde,Toulouse-Lautrec, Claude Debussy, Eric Satie, Picasso, Sarah Bernhardt, Colette. and many more. The exhibit was filmed by both the Lumiere Brothers and Edison. By far the better preserved films (so far) are the four Lumiere films, clips from each we’ve featured here. We’ve AI upscaled, interpolated, colorized and added sound to the highest quality clips we could find. Open source deep learning neu
