ONE DAY IN TIRANA (ALBANIA) | 4K 60FPS | A real insider tip and an undiscovered pearl of the Balkans

Tirana is the capital of Albania and the political, economic and cultural centre of the country. Among other things, the city is known for its colourful buildings from various eras and not only has a beautiful city centre, but also an exciting history. Tirana is one of the cities with the most cafés in Europe, very green with numerous parks, beautifully situated on Mount Dajti (1,611 m) and is an exciting discovery. For me, Tirana is definitely worth a visit. The centre of the city is Skanderbeg Square. It is surrounded by many public buildings, the National Historical Museum, the opera, which is located in the Palace of Culture, and the Et’hem Bey Mosque. The city’s landmark is also located here: the Skanderbeg Monument, dedicated to the Albanian national hero Skanderbeg. The airport, located about 17 kilometres from the city centre, translates as “Mother Theresa“. I was thrilled by the lively, friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the city and felt completely at ease - my choice of music should reflect exactly this pleasant mood. Unfortunately, I can’t show you everything in my video, as some sights, such as the pyramid, were being modernised at the time of my visit and the construction work was still in full swing. But I have packed so many views into my video that there is a lot to discover. Already during my visit to Tirana and also now while editing my video, I noticed how beautifully green the city is.
