Welcome to the Rat House #1 - The Playroom

We’ve built a separate little “Rat House“ for our Roof Rats. It was designed specifically to make it easier to care for and play with them. In this video, you can see The Playroom, which is a walk-in cage big enough for several people. It is “rat safe“, as there is no-place for them to get lost and nothing that could injure them. We still need to add some toys and maybe places to climb. We use The Playroom for socializing babies so they get used to being handled. Visitors also use The Playroom to play with our rats and maybe select their future pets.
