A short talk with Ahbe (eden ahbez) Nature Boy

The writer of the beautiful song “Nature Boy“ in 1948, Ahbe, formally renamed eden ahbez, was a Yogi and free spirit, with long hair and a beard in the 1930’s, decades before Hippies or Beatniks! The song was a huge hit for Nat King Cole, and many other big names, but Ahbe saw little of the profits, living a spartan life in a sleeping bag in parks, mountains and in the desert. Even when he and his wife Anna had a boy named Zoma, they still lived on the far fringes of civilization living the nomastic life.
