How to do a Duck Walk

In this video, we’ll show you how to do a duck walk. This is another animal walk that can boost your child’s gross motor skills, increase body awareness, modulate energy and emotion levels, and aid in processing sensation in other sensory systems. To do a duck walk, bend your knees and squat down to the ground. Put your arms out to the side or in front of your chest to balance. While you’re still squatting, put one foot forward and then step forward with the other. You’ll look like a waddling duck! If this is a bit tricky, try bending your knees a little bit less, so you’re more upright.
