Scenes from the play “The Beauty Prize“ staged at the Winter Garden Theatre in London. Carol Stuart, who is played by Dorothy Dickson, has eight strings to her bow and eight beaux to her string! Eight men kneel on the stage whilst Carol dances for them. Some girls look at him with admiration. He looks around and a man in a smart naval uniform comes and assists him, taking his fishing net, life bouy and outer garments. Leslie Henson takes off many, many layers of clothing then does a funny hornpipe type dance. Lovey Toots is played by Heather Thatcher.
