1933 French Hand Cranked Grinder - Restoration

Restoring an old french hand cranked grinder from Val D’or , very possibly dating from 1933. As the title suggests, I restored this wonderful and complex tool. My dear friend from OTND Restoration channel sent me. I started the restoration, by disassembly, as usual. As I have seen in other restorations of the same tool, I expected the sprockets to be simple, attached only to the holes in the gearbox. I was very surprised when I opened the gearbox and saw that it also had ball bearings. That was the moment when I realized that this restoration is a bit more complex, but at the same time even more satisfying. This restoration video is a little longer than I usually do, but I did it to make the work satisfying for you. Apart from asmr restoration, you will see many things restored using hands, others being restored with the help of the lathe.
